Driving innovation and efficiency with BIM & CAD technology.

Miller Electric Company has been streamlining projects with Computer Aided Design (CAD) software since the early 1990s. We use the technology to create 2D layouts that facilitate a faster and more cost-effective installation of electrical equipment rooms; verify required code clearances; and determine the proper location of underground piping. More than 10 years ago, we built on this innovation by moving into a BIM environment where we can create 2D models onsite to eliminate errors, RFIs, costly change orders, lost time and rework due to incomplete instructions.

What BIM Can Do for You
BIM is the process of generating and managing data about a building. People think of it before a project begins, but it’s helpful in facilities management, estimating and purchasing after completion. We use BIM before, during and after projects to help clients maximize the efficient operation of electrical systems on an ongoing basis.
