JOB FUNCTIONS

The P6 Primavera Scheduler/Project Manager is responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring projects through the complete cycle. This position will also be accountable for establishing and maintaining effective relationships with all departments, employees, clients, architects, subcontractors and vendors; Participate in lessons learned process as required.

  • Proactively prepare and develop project schedules
  • Monitor the project critical path, understanding project float
  • Generate and updating reports
  • Update project schedules on a weekly or as-needed basis
  • Lead schedule review sessions as required and document project status
  • Review and verify all project-related scheduling information and providing support to Project Teams
  • Prepare a Schedule Summary Report and advise management on a regularly schedule basis
  • Ensure all projects include a BASELINE
  • Provide scheduling assistance and education to project team members
  • Review, monitor and advise on the accuracy of assigned schedules
  • Additional responsibilities may be defined as project needs evolve

  • Proficiency on scheduling programs Primavera P6
  • Advanced abilities with Primavera P6: Resource Loading, Critical Path, Schedule Analysis, Variance Reports, EV, etc.
  • Requires exceptional knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office software
  • Skills in reviewing schedules including identifying, analyzing, and solving schedule-related issues;
  • Perform a variety of tasks associated with the development and maintenance of highly complex
  • Primavera P6 project schedules including; resource loading, progress tracking, float management, etc.
  • Knowledge of project management practices and procedures

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with monitoring, controlling and updating project schedules
  • Highly analytical. Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 3 years of Primavera P6 Scheduling experience.
  • Electrical Project Management a plus
  • Mission Critical experience a plus
  • Complex project scheduling: 2 - 5 years
