Building on Trust and Sharing Knowledge

millerelect.com

One of our core values is to maintain an honest, open dialogue with our customers.  And in an effort to extend that commitment, we decided to launch this blog as a means of giving our customers—and industry peers—the advice and best practices needed to get the job done right in the electrical industry.

Being in the business for close to 100 years, we’ve worked on all types of electrical and low voltage projects from electrical construction, voice and data, network cabling and testing, security to proactive maintenance. We’ve seen everything on the job—the good and the bad—and as a result, we know which solutions work and which ones don’t. We want to share our experiences and opinions in hopes of creating an online community where ideas are exchanged and relationships are solidified.

We don’t rest on our laurels and we don’t live in the past, we’re constantly looking for new and better ways.

In the coming weeks, we’ll be covering a range of topics—from energy efficient lighting and other industry trends, new tools and technologies like BIM, to cost-saving tips on how to get the biggest bang for your buck on certain types of projects. So bookmark this page, and be sure to stop by as often as you can. While you’re at it, feel free to leave us a comment and let us know if there are certain topics or trends you’d like to learn more about. Our goal is to be your new go-to source for tips, commentary and know-how on the electrical industry.
