Ray Bruegman started his career in engineering for Black & Veatch Engineers-Architects after graduating from Southeast Community College in 1983. Starting in 1985 as project manager for Miller Electric in design and estimating he successfully managed many industrial and commercial projects. Ray was instrumental in the development of the company’s initial Safety & Health and Affirmative Action programs. He serves on the NECA/IBEW Apprenticeship Training Committee. Ray served as Executive Vice President for Miller Electric Company since 1998 before taking over the helm as President in 2008.

As Vice President – Project Manager, Bill Henrichs acts as both chief estimator for Miller Electric and project manager on many of the company’s most high-profile accounts. Bill has been with Miller Electric for more than 38 years, seeing its staff grow from a mere 4 project managers and 40 electricians in 1973 to the more than 10 project managers and 250 electricians that make up the company today.
In addition to his longstanding career at Miller Electric, Bill also brings expertise from his industry involvement outside the company. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Nebraska and Omaha chapters of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), as well as on the NECA/IBEW Apprenticeship Training Committee. Bill holds an Associate’s Degree in Electrical Construction from Southeast Community College.

A network specialist with more than 25 years of experience in the low voltage (LV) industry, Tom Parks is a Vice President and Manager of Miller Electric’s Low Voltage department, where he’s responsible for the quality assurance and business standards for all design, estimating and management services. Prior to joining Miller Electric in 1991, Tom worked in the telecommunications industry for three years. His extensive experience and business background were instrumental in the development of the company’s network and low voltage services, which today employs more than 50 LV craftsmen.
Tom has served as the company’s Secretary for more than 15 years and is also an officer of the company. He is a graduate of the American Institute of Business, and serves on the Low Voltage Apprenticeship Committee.

A member of the Miller team for more than a decade, Jason Tagge is a EVP in the company’s electrical department, where he oversees day-to-day project workflow. Throughout his 16 years in the industry, Jason has worked on all types of projects—from INVESCO Field at Mile High stadium, home of the Denver Broncos, to multi-story corporate headquarter buildings—giving him well-rounded experience in the field. Prior to joining Miller Electric, Jason worked as a project manager for Dynalectric, a subsidiary company of the EMCORP Group, one of the largest subcontractors in the world. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Assistant Project Manager
As an Assistant Project Manager for Miller Electric, Kelvin Brandt performs a variety of duties including managing construction documentation, ordering equipment and assisting Project Managers in many different ways. Kelvin also helps Miller Electric recruit employees through his established relationships with the University of Nebraska’s College of Engineering. Prior to joining Miller Electric in 2014, Kelvin installed underground storage tanks, manholes and fire hydrants as a laborer for Heimes Corp. and worked as an intern for Midwest Demolition Company and The Southwestern Company. Kelvin’s broad experience and attention to detail make him a natural fit for Miller Electric’s team and culture.

As chief estimator for Miller Electric, Richard Evans oversees the assigning of all estimating duties and coordination between estimators, PM’s, BIM/design, and low voltage services for multiservice integrated projects. Rick was heavily recruited to Miller Electric for his experience and proven accuracy in electrical estimating. He has been in the industry since 1981, and with the exception of four years of project management, has focused exclusively on electrical estimation.

A specialist in BIM/CAD development, Ben coordinates with other construction trades to ensure all building system models are collision-free prior to construction and leads efforts to implement robotic total stations for field layout. Ron Kohlmeier is a VP – Sr. Project Manager and Professional Engineer (PE) who brings valuable architectural design and building construction experience to the table. A licensed electrical contractor with more than 23 years of experience in the field, Larry Lange is responsible for overseeing electrical projects at Miller Electric. As a Project Manager, Larry primarily handles jobs in healthcare, but also dedicates his time to helping customers with day-to-day electrical needs. As field superintendent for Miller Electric, it’s Mike Anderson’s job to ensure all projects are completed on schedule and to clients’ satisfaction. Mike supervises between 50-70 technicians and is responsible for all aspects of hiring, training and day-to-day manpower procurement. Mike joined Miller Electric in 2000 as an experienced voice, data, and network technician for Miller’s Integrated Systems division. His training and field experience began during his tenure in the United States Marine Corps where he successfully completed Communications Electronics School and worked as a wireman and field operator.
Mike joined the IBEW in Omaha as a technician in 1998 where he earned his BICSI training and worked as a Union Technician. His installation certifications include; Systimax, Panduit, Leviton, Hubbell, AMP, Fluke, and BICSI Technician levels 1, 2 & 3.

Custom Commercial Operations Manager
As the Custom Commercial Operations Manager for Miller Electric, Charlie Graeve heads up Miller’s mobile, flexible special projects service, planning and overseeing small new construction projects, interior remodels, lighting upgrades, generator installs, small to medium sized service change outs, and light commercial work. Charlie also prospects for new Custom Commercial clients. He has been with Miller Electric since 1998, when he joined the team as an apprentice. Over the years Charlie worked as a Journeyman wireman, Foreman and General Foreman before being named Custom Commercial Operations Manager in 2015. He carries Nebraska and Iowa Journeyman Electrician licenses, an OSHA 10 hour card and rigging and crane signaling certifications. Charlie’s innovative problem solving ability and commitment to customer service make him a natural fit for Miller Electric’s Custom Commercial team.

As TEGG General Manager for Miller Electric, Kurt Hamilton is responsible for project managing, estimating, engineering and billing for a large variety of projects. He works to ensure that Miller Electric delivers superior results and service to every customer on every project. Kurt came to work for Miller Electric in 1986 after a stint as an apprentice electrician elsewhere in the Omaha area. During his nearly 30 years with Miller Electric, Kurt has worked as an electrician, in the service department and as an instructor in the Electrical Training Center. As Prefab Operations Manager for Miller Electric, Chris Nightser oversees the growth and daily operation of Miller Electric’s Prefabrication Shop, which has tripled in size under Chris’ leadership. Chris is also responsible for maintaining Miller’s UL listing E466157 for Wiring Assemblies and Data Center floor whips.
Miller is currently the only contractor in the metro area to have this listing with UL.
Prior to joining Miller Electric in 2003, Chris worked in manufacturing and logistics. In addition to five years of experience working in Miller’s Service Department, Chris holds certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Lean Behavior and the Five S’s (Sort-Simplify/Straighten-Sweep/Shine-Standardize-Sustain). Prior to joining Miller Electric, Chris participated in the OJEATC Apprenticeship Program, and was a Pre Engineering Student at Iowa Western Community College.

As service manager for Miller Electric, it’s Steve Schneiderwind’s job to ensure customers’ expectations are met on every service call. Steve supervises over 20 servicemen and is responsible for a variety of duties including fielding customer calls and providing solutions to their needs, coordinating estimates and scheduling with project managers, procuring material and equipment, and ensuring Miller Electric’s safety program is followed by all service drivers. Steve joined Miller Electric in 1986 as an electrician and began working in the service department in 1991. Steve’s innate ability to multi-task along with his considerable field and office experience ensure every service call is answered quickly and completely.

Paul has been with Miller Electric for 40 years, ever since he started his electrical career as an apprentice in 1975. When Paul ran work in the field it was common for architects, general contractors, and customers who previously worked with him to request him for their next project. Paul has managed project pre-planning and layout, BIM strategies and inter spatial coordination for the past 9 years. Paul works with Owner/GC BIM teams, site superintendents, project managers, general foreman and other trades to ensure quality installation is done right the first time.
